Buying a home is expensive and you are spending considerable sums with other professions and services whilst making ready to move house or make an investment. Buying a property is however the biggest financial commitment that most people make during their lifetimes.

The purchase and the price you pay for a building are subject to survey and satisfactory legal investigations. The purpose of the Survey is to draw your attention to defects which were not known to exist or which you may not have fully understood when you agreed the offer price.

In some cases the extent of the work required and the cost of it might well changed your decision as to the price you are prepared to pay or indeed in some cases, fortunately very rarely, whether to buy at all.

We can often alert you to matters which will need checking by your legal adviser and which can avoid conflict with the authorities or adjoining owners after moving in. In most cases we can e-mail a preview survey to your solicitor so he can get started on these things as soon as possible

In the light of such an experience previous clients often tell us that despite having spent several hundred pounds on a Survey all considered the fee was money well spent.

Fees are determined by the value and age of the property to be inspected. Please provide the information required and click submit. We will be in touch as soon as possible.
